Our visit to the bat cave… actually it’s the distillery at Old Forester located in Louisville, KY.
The next time you find yourself in Louisville, this distillery experience is an absolute must! We learned so much, however, the most fascinating bit of information was that back in 1873, Old Forester was the first to bottle their bourbon in sealed bottles.
This was done to guard against alteration and substitution of its contents, providing a higher level of quality assurance relative to other products in the market.
Before this I guess you never really knew what you were buying & consuming.
The things we take for granted today! Cheers! ?
