Elijah Craig Barrel Proof A120

We hope you are having a wonderful weekend! This evening we find ourselves enjoying a pour of this fantastic Elijah Craig Barrel Proof.

This 12 year old Bourbon is produced at Heaven Hill Distillery located in Bardstown, Kentucky. This particular batch, A120 and was bottled at barrel proof without chill filtration. “A” signifies that this release is the first batch of the year, while “1” & “20” tells us the month and the year.

At 136.6 proof this one is absolutely wonderful, full of flavor and character. Since this Barrel Proof, we get to enjoy Elijah Craig the same way a Master Distiller does when they sample straight from the barrel.
